He created a formula for success: "digital leadership = delivery × (data + AI) × ethics." Before UCR, he led IT at Duke, Northwestern, Marshfield Clinic, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He has published over 150 papers, trained 70+ students, and focuses on using technology and AI to improve healthcare.
