Lidavex was founded after the birth of my first child - not because the experience went wrong, but because it revealed how fragile the system truly is.

As a clinician in women’s health, I had accepted the limitations of labor assessment as “standard practice.” As a mother, I saw the consequences more clearly: inconsistent exams, delayed decisions, avoidable discomfort, and outcomes that depend too much on where a woman gives birth rather than what she needs.

Lidavex is building objective, gentle labor-monitoring technology designed to extend high-quality obstetric decision-making into low-resource, understaffed, and geographically isolated settings. Our approach reduces reliance on subjective exams, supports earlier intervention, and enables care teams to act with confidence - even when specialist access is limited.
